Eddie Trunk has dedicated his entire life to his love of music. He started in radio right out of high school in 1983 at his local NJ station WDHA. While there Trunk established what is widely regarded as the first ever specialty show focused on heavy metal and hard rock. He broke into the NYC market in 1994 at "New Yorks Pure Rock Q104.3", staying on until 1998 and the stations switch to it's current classic rock format. Trunk then spent four years at the now defunct legendary NYC rock station WNEW. While there he launched Friday and Saturday Night Rocks, revisiting his specialty show roots and scoring a syndication deal for the program. In 2002 he returned to his first NYC home Q104.3, where the show continues to this day on Friday nights and is heard live every Friday 11PM-2AM. With a 25 year and counting history and respect from the hard rock and metal world, the show has attracted just about every major rock musician throughout it's history. Simply put, Eddie Trunk is the most respected and trusted name in the genre!
